Expand the width of the garage if you own the house. losing that much of the yard probably won't bother the kid's play area. It will give you the room you need.
Camera is deceiving, there’s not much room in the side of the garage
"I can do a mean rattle-can job" Now you're talking my skill level! Love the anvil work. Never apologize for '32 3w stuff, EVERYONE wants to see that stuff.
Haha thanks and you’re right. Any 3w stuff does well
Where IS Jacob?
Got a job doing construction
@@RACGARAGEhe seems like a good young man…
👍
Yes this video is an old one but still have to say it...first of all, it is NO SECRET. Second, people have been doing this for decades and decades. You young guys think just because you came across a way of doing something makes you smart or special? Remember...just about everything you can learn or dream-up HAS ALREADY BEED DONE. Stop thinking you're special because it's BS. I'm sorry but watching your videos has shown me you have a smart-ass character and makes me want to unsubscribe. Yes you do "average" work which is good...but I have no time to watch such BS "Secret". That was a very dumb thing to say. nothing you are doing on any or your videos are "secrets" and no you are not smarter than others...get over it narcissist.
You should replace the wheel studs with longer ones, due to the spacer thickness.
Great video Travis 👍 always love seeing a new video posted by you. Keep up the great work man!
Thank you!
Nice job very innovative, could a guy have pie cut and weld to the shapes you needed, Jack, RI, USA
You can pie cut and weld but I like to keep a bracket one homogeneous piece whenever I can. Weld joints are just a potential failure
I enjoy all of the videos. Don't change anything, continuous or bits of pieces! Except getting your drills sharpened or get a Drill Doctor - center punch, drill a small diameter through to clear the web and finish with the final diameter. Need a paper ot white board punch list for each project.
Thanks for the tips!
i am not even remotely getting sick of the daily videos..just so ya know...
Hell yeah thanks man!
Thanks for your knowledge of cars !!
My pleasure!
Instead of spacers can’t you use narrower control arms…..?
The caliper hitting the wheel is the issue
I like to watch them daily, so keep them coming! And nice work again, like usually
You are LONG overdue to get out of that garage and into a MUCH larger space and not another 2 stall…..!
Yeah I’m looking at a 50x50 space
Make sure you clean the gun completely before you put it away….!
Yup!
Keep the content coming! Nice parts haul! Torch forging on a hot and humid day...fun! In your next shop you will draw those bumper brackets and cut them on your CNC Plasma cutter! Cool watching you hand hammer them! Go RAC Garage keep moving forward!
Oh man I wish I had a cnc plasma
Won't be better in winter 4 sure looks like happy days again😂
You’re at the point where you should get yourself a bigger shop you have the talent and the tools invest in yourself.
Hopefully coming soon!
Travis, you need to get a Drill Doctor and sharpen those bits instead of just sticking back in box. I got one off eBay and man did it do the job.
Will do!
You need a white board to keep track of what is to do
Happy, happy, joy, joy. lol
Gotta have my daily fix of RAC Garage vids !!!
Glad everyone’s liking them!
Travis, I bought a "primer" gun from Eastwood as you did. I feel your pain on the shop space, I have a two car garage with a finished porch which now serves as my sheet metal equipment storage. My driveway is part of my working shop space.
Cheap gun is all you need for what I do
like 38 !
That high build will kick off in the gun really fast, don't let it sit!
i,d like to have it
Nice car, fun to drive I'll bet. Just go to Harbor Freight and get a cheap pyrometer. At least you'll know where you're at in operating temperature.
A true old car..not messed with mutch..
Oh man u got a great one..i have no words...
Really what a sweet old timer...i am happy 4 u !
That is so sweet. Cost a mint i bet...but so so nice really!
Y man ant see 4 weeks...i dont know why..i dig your show...must be u tube..shame on them. U da man!
Yeah I don’t know why UA-cam doesn’t show my stuff.
Great job Travis
Nice car. Too bad you can’t keep it!
Yeah it is too bad but atleast I can mess with it for a bit
Great work
Thanks!
Sounds great, looking forward to more '33 vids...
More to come!
Stunning fabrication...shape and form are amazing! You attention to detail and the little things that make or break a build are incredible! That Lasalle grille is gorgeous and seems like it should have been there all along! Go RAC Garage, keep moving forward!
Thank you very much! It’s a difficult piece
Sounds good 👍
tough choice but i know which one i would be keeping of your two. weres jacob ?
Well the 33 isn’t mine I just found it and am doing the work for Danno who owns it now. And Jacob got a job working construction, more than I could pay him
While your working your way thru subtle changes (for the sake of cool) I'd consider lower profile headlight mounts. I was playing with headlights on my 5w yesterday.. they run around $55 a set.
That’s not a bad idea!
Very KOOL Travis
That'll have to be one of the luckiest 33 🙂 3 window coupes around ❤️
It’s gonna be one sweet ride! Even though it is already!
Happy to see our timing tool worked out well for you! Looking forward to seeing this beauty roll on its own power. Keep up the great work!
Thanks again!
Aw man, hearing that motor turn over is the best music ever! FIRST DRIVE! Congrats Travis! Good things happen to good people! This made my Friday! Go RAC Garage, keep moving forward!
Thanks Man!!
Beautiful Car Travis and Kelly
it looks like your son might really like to be with you... and help dad if he could... I bet he'd love it...and by teaching him all that you know!... Wow...
I hope we get to work side by side
Kelly, Hey that '33 looks like your new car. The kids would love the rumble seat.
Loving this 33 too, would be awesome if you could keep it. I like it when you film some mechanical repairs! I'm more comfortable with body work so I'm learning from you!!
If it was getting too warm then the fan would be going all the time. Is it? Seems kind of silly to run something without a temp gauge or using an IR temp tool.
Just got the adapters for the temp gauge so it’s going in next
Great job Travis!!!!!!!
